libstring-approx-perl software package provides Perl extension for approximate matching (fuzzy matching), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libstring-approx-perl
libstring-approx-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libstring-approx-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libstring-approx-perl *
You will get with libstring-approx-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
